The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed that it has not received any official communication from the International Criminal Court (ICC) regarding an alleged arrest warrant against Senator Christopher “Bong Go.”

Justice spokesperson Polo Martinez made the clarification following claims by Davao City 1st District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte that the ICC had already issued warrants against Go and two former police officers.

“We confirm that we have not received any official communication from the ICC regarding the alleged issuance of a warrant of arrest against Sen. Bong Go. This information was verified with the PCTC as of 10AM this morning,” Martinez said.

The DOJ and the Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC) both confirmed that no official notice or documentation has been received regarding the reported warrants.
