The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Saturday that a total of 961 individuals sought assistance through the Mental Health Hotline at the National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) from December 21, 2025, to January 2, 2026.

Based on DOH summary report, the highest volume of calls occurred on December 30, 2025, with callers reporting issues primarily related to relationship or love life problems, anxiety, and depressive symptoms.

The DOH reminded the public that the NCMH hotline remains open for those needing immediate psychological first aid or free mental health consultation.

Surveillance by the department will continue until January 5, 2026, and the hotlines will remain operational throughout this period.

Individuals seeking support may reach the NCMH Crisis Hotline at 1553 (toll-free nationwide from landlines), 0919-057-1553, or 0917-899-8727.
