The Department of Finance (DOF) has collected ₱16.13 billion in revenue from 330,000 successful applications under the estate tax amnesty program from June 2019 to June 2025.

DOF Assistant Secretary Euvimil Nina Asuncion said the program helped ease families’ tax obligations and allowed inherited properties to be put back to productive use.

The agency is encouraging heirs who have yet to apply to take advantage of the renewed estate tax amnesty, alongside efforts to simplify documentary requirements and payment terms.

The initiative aims to help more families settle outstanding estate taxes and facilitate the transfer and registration of inherited properties.
