The Department of Energy (DOE) announced the upcoming public opening of the Energy Museum, a new educational space designed to engage students and science enthusiasts in the country’s energy sector.
DOE Secretary Sharon S. Garin highlighted that the museum will feature hands-on interactive displays, virtual learning content, and STEM-focused workshops aimed at fostering understanding of electricity generation, distribution, and consumption. Visitors will also have opportunities to explore potential careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
"Kapag nauunawaan ng bawat Pilipino kung paano ang kuryente nagmumula sa ating mga likas na yaman… ang curiosity ay nagiging capability," said Secretary Garin. She added that the museum will serve as the home of our energy story—where it is learned, shared, and developed for future generations.
The Energy Museum is positioned as a hub for learning, offering the public a chance to deepen their appreciation of the country’s energy systems while inspiring the next generation of innovators.
