The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) have provided assistance to 5,257 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in Saudi Arabia, delivering a total of 6,873 services as of November 2, 2026.

In a statement on Monday, the DMW said the assistance included financial aid for 5,164 OFWs, food assistance for 659, land transportation assistance for 234, shelter assistance for 231, and medical assistance for 12 individuals.

The government has also facilitated the repatriation of 560 OFWs and 13 dependents through 14 flights to ensure their safe return to the Philippines.

The DMW and OWWA continue to coordinate with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), the Philippine Embassy, and other government offices in Saudi Arabia to provide timely assistance and protect the welfare of affected Filipino workers.
