Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon on Tuesday declined to comment on reports that he was among government officials allegedly being targeted in a reported honeytrap or sex scandal plot linked to Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste.
According to a report by RH Jecelle Ricafort, Dizon said there were more pressing issues that needed the government's attention.
“Huwag na natin pag-usapan ‘yan. Ang dami-daming problema ng Pilipinas,” Dizon said.
Reports earlier surfaced alleging that aside from Executive Secretary Ralph Recto, five other government officials were also being targeted in an alleged effort to set them up in a sex scandal.
Dizon did not elaborate on the reported plot or confirm whether he was among those allegedly being targeted.
The allegations involving Leviste have yet to be fully established publicly, and no details were immediately available on the identities of the other officials reportedly involved.
