The Dimasalang Bridge in Sampaloc, Manila, has reopened to motorists following months of rehabilitation, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) announced.
In a social media post, the MPIO said the reopening is expected to help speed up travel and ease traffic congestion in the area, particularly as the observance of Undas 2026 approaches.
The city government said the bridge’s reopening would benefit motorists and commuters traveling through the area.
The development comes as motorists are expected to travel to cemeteries and memorial parks to visit their departed loved ones during the annual observance of All Saints’ Day on November 1 and All Souls’ Day on November 2.
The reopening is expected to help improve traffic flow in the surrounding area as the holiday period draws near.
