The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will meet with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) next week to discuss the possible blocking of Roblox and similar gaming platforms over concerns about youth radicalization, DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla said.

In an interview with DZRH’s Dos Por Dos, Remulla said the government is looking into shutting down Roblox and other games with chat features that may be used to influence young people toward radicalization.

He said the DILG and NTC will discuss the matter next week as authorities explore possible measures against the platforms.
