The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is offering a P50-million reward for information leading to the arrest of Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
As reported by RH Edniel Parrosa, DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla announced the reward during a press briefing at Camp Crame, saying authorities consider the senator “armed and dangerous.”
“As for today, Senator Bato will be considered armed and dangerous. We are placing P50 million for his capture,” Remulla said.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) will form a dedicated team to locate and arrest Dela Rosa, with the reward to be sourced from the combined intelligence funds of the PNP and DILG.
Dela Rosa was last seen in public on May 14, 2026, when he left the Senate premises following a tense standoff between Senate security personnel and National Bureau of Investigation agents attempting to serve the ICC arrest warrant. He has not appeared publicly since.
The police have also given the senator a one-week ultimatum to surrender.
