The Department of Energy (DOE) on Tuesday recorded a decrease in the prices of petroleum products for the September 1–7 period, following movements in the global oil market.

Gasoline prices fell by ₱0.32 per liter, while diesel and kerosene prices dropped by ₱3.83 and ₱3.84 per liter, respectively.

The DOE said the adjustments were based on movements in the international oil market amid continuing developments in the Middle East that have affected global oil supply and prices.

For liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the DOE reported a decrease of ₱0.40 per kilogram, equivalent to a ₱4.39 reduction per cylinder.

The agency said it continues to work to strengthen the country's oil supply and protect public welfare.

“Patuloy ang pagkilos ng Department of Energy upang mapalakas ang supply ng langis at mapangalagaan ang kapakanan ng publiko.”
