The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) assured that government systems were unaffected amid content delivery network (CDN) operator Cloudflare’s global outage.

Several websites, including X (formerly Twitter), Spotify, ChatGPT, and Canva, were affected by this outage but are now accessible, the agency confirmed. It also reported that all vital government systems stayed operational in spite of the service disruption.

“All critical government systems remained stable and secure throughout the incident. The DICT continues to closely monitor the situation to ensure full operation of uninterrupted digital services,” DICT said in a statement.

According to a report, Cloudflare said the problem was caused by an internal service degradation.
