Several devotees who joined Traslacion 2026 said their prayers included appeals for an end to corruption in government, according to interviews conducted along the procession route.

Some participants traveled from distant provinces, including Pangasinan, to take part in the annual religious event.

DZRH reporter Jecelle Ricafort quoted devotees expressing frustration over alleged corruption, with one saying, “Mawala na yung mga… lahat ng gumawa ng korapsyon.”

Another devotee added, “Sana nga po… mategi na silang lahat, kasi hindi naman po… yung ginawa nila sa bansa. Sana ibalik na lang po nila yung pera natin,” reflecting strong emotions as they called for accountability and the return of public funds.
