The Department of Education (DepEd) confirmed that the resumption of in-person classes in Northern Samar went smoothly amid the country’s oil crisis, according to a Friday report.
According to OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Gaudencio C. Aljibe Jr., the agency continues to monitor the situation amid the rising cost of fuel and that learning delivery modalities have been successfully implemented, in line with the DepEd central office’s instructions, reported RH 34 Jayne Galit Bantayan of Aksyon Radyo Catarman.
Face-to-face classes proceeded without issue, with graduation exercises slated to begin tomorrow, March 28, the official said.
The provincial office urged schools to keep their ceremonies modest due to soaring pump prices.
