The Department of Education (DepEd), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) emerged as the top three performing government agencies in the latest OCTA Research survey.
The results of OCTA’s Tugon ng Bayan survey released on Tuesday showed that DepEd garnered an 87 percent approval rate for its performance.
While 78 percent of the respondents answered that they were satisfied with DOHs work, and 76 percent with DSWD.
In terms of geographic area, DSWD got the highest approval from the National Capital Region (NCR) with 89 percent and DepEd with 84 percent.
Other government agencies that acquired above 50 percent approval rate are the following:

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - 72 percent

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) - 65 percent

Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - 64 percent
- Department of Agriculture (DA) - 62 percent

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) - 57 percent

Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) - 54 percent

Department of Justice (DOJ) - 54 percent

Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - 50 percent
Meanwhile, agencies that received 50 percent and below ratings are as follows:
- Department of Tourism (DOT) - 48 percent
- Department of Transportation (DOTr) - 47 percent
- Department of National Defense (DND) - 45 percent
- Department of Energy (DOE) - 40 percent
- Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD)- 35 percent
- Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) -10 percent
The survey was conducted from October 23 to 27 with 1,200 adult respondents nationwide.
