The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has allocated nearly P83 billion for the 2026 Year-End Bonus and P5,000 cash gift to qualified government employees, reminding agencies to release both benefits alongside their first November salary.
DBM Secretary Kim Robert C. De Leon said the funds have already been released to concerned government agencies, emphasizing that workers should receive their benefits without unnecessary delays.
“Ang year-end bonus po ng mga government employees na katumbas ng one month basic salary, kasama ang P5,000 cash gift, ay dapat matanggap kasabay ng first salary for November,” De Leon said.
Under DBM Budget Circular No. 2024-3, qualified personnel are entitled to a bonus equivalent to one month's basic salary as of October 31, 2026, plus the P5,000 cash gift.
To qualify, employees must have rendered at least four months or 120 days of aggregate government service from January 1 to October 31, 2026, and must remain in government service as of October 31.
Of the P82.998-billion allocation, P73.449 billion is earmarked for the year-end bonus, while P9.549 billion covers the cash gift.
De Leon said the benefits recognize government workers' dedication and continued service to the Filipino people, particularly as the Christmas season approaches.
