Filipino content creator Phillip Te Hernandez, popularly known as Davao Conyo, is set to represent the Philippines at the inaugural TikTok Awards Southeast Asia 2026 after receiving the local Creator of the Year award.
Hernandez expressed gratitude after receiving the recognition during the TikTok Awards event in Makati City on Thursday, November 5.
“I would like to thank God, the original creator,” he said in his acceptance remarks.
The announcement follows TikTok’s first-ever regional awards program, which features creators from six Southeast Asian markets, including the Philippines.
TikTok earlier said the top-voted nominee in each of the 11 award categories would advance as their country’s representative in the regional competition.
Hernandez was among the three Philippine nominees for Creator of the Year, alongside Ayn Bernos and Fujicko.
He will compete in the regional awards ceremony scheduled for November 27, 2026, in Bali, Indonesia, where the Southeast Asian winners will be announced.
The TikTok Awards Southeast Asia aims to recognize creators and content that inspire communities and make an impact across the region.
