

The Low Pressure Area (LPA) monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has developed into Tropical Depression “Crising,” PAGASA said.
As of 8:00 AM on Wednesday, July 16, PAGASA stated that Crising has intensified into a tropical depression.
In a weather advisory issued at 11:00 AM, the weather bureau announced a heavy rainfall outlook. From July 16 to 17, the locations affected by the rainfall are as follows:
- Camarines Norte
- Camarines Sur
- Catanduanes
- Albay
- Sorsogon
- Masbate
- Northern Samar
- Eastern Samar
- Samar
- Biliran
Areas affected by “Crising” on Thursday, July 17 to Friday, July 18 are the following:
- Catanduanes
- Isabela
- Aurora
- Quezon
- Camarines Norte
- Camarines Sur
- Albay
- Sorsogon
- Northern Samar
According to PAGASA, the forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas. However, some areas may be impacted differently according to the antecedent rainfall.
“The public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measure[s] to protect life and property. PAGASA Regional Services Division may issue Heavy Rainfall Warnings, Rainfall/Thunderstorm Advisories, and other severe weather information specific to their areas of responsibility as appropriate,” the weather bureau said in an announcement.
The next weather advisory will be issued at 5:00 PM today.
