American comedian, television host, and podcaster Conan O’Brien has officially confirmed via social media that he is in the Philippines to film the second season of his hit travel docu-series "Conan O’Brien Must Go."
The Emmy-winning docu-series, which premiered in 2024, is a spin-off of O’Brien’s popular podcast 'Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.'
During his visit, O’Brien shared photos on social media of meeting Filipino fans in Manila, including in Bonifacio Global City.
"Mabuhay, Philippines! Just landed in Manila to shoot "Conan O'Brien Must Go" and I’ve already met so many amazing people," O’Brien wrote in a post.
The veteran comedian and the late-night host, who recently received the Mark Twain Prize for Comedy, also recently hosted the 2025 Oscars and is set to return as host for the 2026 Oscars.
O’Brien first made his mark as a writer for 'The Simpsons' and 'Saturday Night Live' before becoming a household name as the host of 'Late Night with Conan O’Brien' in 1993. Since leaving late-night television in 2021, he has continued to reinvent himself through digital media and travel storytelling.
Beyond television, O’Brien recently returned to the big screen in the comedy-drama 'If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,' alongside Rose Byrne, which premiered in U.S. theaters on October 10.
