The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has released the calendar of activities for the Sept. 14, 2026, parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), including key dates for the filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) and submission of party requirements.

In a schedule issued on Monday, the poll body said the filing of COCs for parliamentary district representatives, along with the submission of consolidated lists of nominees by coalitions, will be held from May 5 to May 7, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The deadline for the submission of official logos of regional political parties or coalitions via email is also set on May 7. On the same day, candidates for district representatives and first nominees of sectoral representatives are required to submit their photographs.

Meanwhile, the filing of petitions for accreditation of dominant majority and minority regional parliamentary political parties, as well as up to 10 major regional parliamentary political parties, will run from May 8 to May 15, 2026.

The COMELEC said the timeline forms part of its preparations to ensure an orderly, clean and organized conduct of the 2026 BARMM parliamentary elections.
