COA lauds Office of the President for ₱4.2-billion hospital assistance fund use

The Commission on Audit (COA) has commended the Office of the President (OP) for its management of more than ₱4.2 billion in funds used to provide modern medical equipment to 33 hospitals nationwide.
According to COA’s 2025 annual audit report posted on its website, the Office of the President distributed an amount of ₱4,217,259,693.10 billion from the Socio-Civic Projects Fund in 2024 and 2025 to support the Philippine Health Facility Development Plan (PHFDP).
