Preparations are underway at the Manila North Cemetery as authorities gear up for the expected influx of visitors during Undas 2026.

Aside from sweeping and cleaning around graves, the Manila Department of Environment and Public Services (DEPS) is trimming tree branches and clearing weeds along roads inside the cemetery.

Some caretakers have also been spotted early in the morning cleaning and maintaining graves.

Meanwhile, personnel from the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 3 continue to patrol the cemetery to ensure public safety and maintain order as Undas approaches.

As in previous years, the cemetery will again provide assistance desks, a grave locator service and wristband tagging for children. Free rides and wheelchair assistance will also be available for persons with disabilities and senior citizens.

The Manila North Cemetery administration urged the public to clean and repaint their loved ones' graves early to avoid the expected crowds as Undas 2026 draws near.
