

Authorities dismantled a suspected clandestine drug laboratory in Brgy. Sinandigan during a joint operation conducted by the Puerto Galera Municipal Police, Oriental Mindoro Police Provincial Office, and PDEA RO MIMAROPA on March 31, 2026.
The raid was carried out under Search Warrant No. SW-26-016 for violations of Sections 8 and 11 of Republic Act 9165.
Although the primary suspect, known as alias “Chin Chin,” was not present and remains at large, authorities seized significant drug evidence and laboratory equipment.
Items recovered included 48 containers and other materials containing white crystalline substances suspected to be shabu, 11 containers of unidentified liquids, two glass filtering flasks, 10 LPG tanks, four heavy-duty stove burners, a generator, and other drug paraphernalia.
The total seized illegal drugs are estimated at roughly one kilogram, with a street value of ₱6,800,000. Authorities confirmed that all items will be returned to the issuing court, with a motion to retain evidence filed to allow proper laboratory examination by PDEA RO MIMAROPA.
The operation is part of ongoing anti-illegal drug efforts in Oriental Mindoro, highlighting intensified enforcement measures against clandestine drug manufacturing in the region.
