The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group–National Capital Region (CIDG-NCR) confirmed it has received around 17 tips regarding the possible whereabouts of Atong Ang, who is linked to the case of the missing sabungeros.
CIDG-NCR Director Col. John Guiagui said during a press briefing at Camp Crame that the information was submitted through designated hotlines and is currently undergoing validation.
According to Guiagui, most of the tips point to remote poultry farms and several exclusive subdivisions where Ang was allegedly sighted.
Authorities believe Ang has not left the country, as efforts to track his movements continue.
The CIDG said the manhunt remains ongoing as investigators intensify operations to locate and arrest Ang in connection with the high-profile disappearance case.
