Filipino cue artist Chezka Centeno capped a flawless campaign to rule the 2026 Women’s World 8-ball Championship, defeating England’s Kelly Fisher, 9-6, in the final at the Oneida Casino Hotel in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Monday morning (PH time).

Centeno completed a perfect 7-0 run in the tournament, showcasing consistency and composure en route to her latest global crown.

Shortly after her victory, the 27-year-old dedicated the triumph to her mother, posting on social media: “Ma, I did it! Para sa’yo ’to,” while also thanking supporters for their prayers and encouragement.

The win marked Centeno’s third major world title, adding to her Women’s World 10-ball Championship victories in 2023 and 2025. She also took home the top prize of $30,000 (more than ₱1.8 million).

Centeno’s latest achievement further cements her status as one of the Philippines’ premier figures in women’s billiards, continuing the country’s rich legacy in cue sports on the global stage.
