Cebu Pacific has cancelled several flights to and from Dubai following developments related to the ongoing security situation in parts of the Middle East.

In an advisory issued as of 9:00 p.m. on February 28, the airline said it is closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety and well-being of its passengers and crew.

Flight 5J 14, which departed Manila for Dubai on February 28, will return to Manila and is expected to arrive at 10:45 p.m. As a result, its return service, Flight 5J 15, has been cancelled.

The Manila–Dubai–Manila flights (5J 14/15) scheduled for March 1 have also been cancelled.

Affected passengers have been notified via email and provided with several options through the airline’s Manage Booking portal. These include free rebooking within 30 days from the original flight date without fare difference. Fare differences will apply if the new travel date is beyond the 30-day window.

Passengers may also opt to store the full amount of their ticket in a Travel Fund, which can be used to book new flights or purchase add-ons such as baggage allowance and seat selection. A full refund option is likewise available.

In addition, Cebu Pacific is offering flexible arrangements, including free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion, for passengers who wish to postpone their trips on the following routes:

  • Dubai – March 2

  • Riyadh – March 1 and 2

Travelers may avail themselves of these options through the Manage Booking portal up to two hours before their scheduled departure.

The airline said it will continue to review its flight operations to and from the Middle East in the coming days, noting that further changes may occur as the situation develops.

Passengers are advised to regularly check their flight status on the Cebu Pacific website and update their contact information via the Manage Booking portal to receive timely notifications.

Cebu Pacific thanked passengers for their patience and understanding.

Earlier, Philippine Airlines also announced the cancellation of flights scheduled for Sunday, March 1, 2026, to the Middle East.

List of affected PAL flights included:
• PR658 / PR659 – Manila–Dubai–Manila
• PR654 / PR655 – Manila–Riyadh–Manila
