The Detroit Pistons forced a winner-take-all Game 7 after routing the Cleveland Cavaliers, 115-94, in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Saturday (Philippine time), handing Cleveland its first home loss of the 2026 NBA playoffs.

Detroit seized control in the second half after a tight opening, pulling away from a Cavaliers squad that briefly threatened before halftime at Rocket Arena.

The Cavaliers trimmed the deficit to 54-51 at the break behind a 7-0 run, but the Pistons responded with a dominant third quarter to rebuild a double-digit cushion and never looked back.

Cade Cunningham led all scorers with 21 points, orchestrating Detroit’s offense with steady play. Daniss Jenkins and Jalen Duren each added 15 points as the Pistons balanced their scoring in the blowout win.

Cleveland struggled to keep pace after halftime despite strong individual efforts. James Harden scored 21 points to lead the Cavaliers, while Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley chipped in 15 points apiece.

The loss snapped Cleveland’s unbeaten run at home this postseason and evened the best-of-seven series at 3-3.

Game 7 is set for Monday (Philippine time), with the winner advancing to the Eastern Conference finals.
