Palace Press Officer Usec. Claire Castro issued a response to the third exposé video released by former Ako Bicol Party-list representative Zaldy Co, who again linked President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez to an alleged multibillion-peso flood-control corruption.

In a statement, Castro denounced Co’s latest video, accusing him of fabricating allegations without presenting evidence.

Castro also emphasized that President Marcos himself initiated investigations into alleged anomalies and suggested that those implicated were attempting to obstruct the process.

She added that those allegedly involved in irregularities are now “creating stories” to stop the ongoing probe.

Co’s latest video claims that kickbacks from anomalous flood-control projects amount not to ₱21 billion, as previously alleged, but to ₱56 billion.

He further asserted that the money supposedly went to the President and the former Speaker.

Co emphasized that none of the money went to him after he and his staff delivered bags of cash to Marcos and Romualdez, transporting them from Forbes Park to Malacañang.

It will be recalled that Co showed in part one of his video statement released on Friday, he accused Marcos, Romualdez, and some of the cabinet members of orchestrating P100 billion insertions in the 2025 national budget.
