Olympic and World Championship gold medalist Carlos Edriel “Caloy” Yulo recently enjoyed quality time with his siblings—Joriel, Karl Jahrel Eldrew, and Elaiza Andriel—along with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, during a fun-filled trip to a theme park.
Carlos shared photos from the outing on Instagram, expressing his gratitude for the warm hospitality and the memorable moments they shared together. The family gathering also served as a celebration of the birthday of his third sibling, Eldrew.
Yulo has firmly established himself as a standout figure in the gymnastics community after winning two Olympic gold medals in floor exercise and vault at the Paris 2024 Olympics. He is also a six-time World Championship medalist and a nine-time SEA Games champion. Additionally, he made history as the first Filipino and Southeast Asian gymnast to win a medal at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2018, followed by a gold medal in 2019.
Following in his footsteps, Eldrew is beginning to make a name for himself in gymnastics, having earned two bronze medals at the Junior World Championships, along with one gold and two silver medals at the Junior Asian Championships.
Meanwhile, their sister Iza is the youngest member of Team Philippines and has already secured five gold medals in the girls’ secondary division at the 2024 Palarong Pambansa.
With each sibling achieving success at different levels, the Yulo family continues to make a strong impact in the gymnastics scene as their careers rapidly rise.
