Rising teen actress Caprice Cayetano is fully embracing her "sidequest era" as she continues to explore new passions beyond acting.
Fresh off her reality show victory, the 17-year-old star shared that she has been spending her free time discovering new hobbies, saying she enjoys trying different activities without putting pressure on herself to have everything figured out.
"Whenever I have free time after work, I explore different sidequests. I make bracelets, play mobile games, and hopefully soon, I'll start baking pastries," Caprice said.
Among her favorite hobbies is bracelet-making, a passion she picked up from her mother, who previously made and sold handmade accessories. Caprice said the craft taught her patience and gave her a sense of fulfillment after completing each piece.
She also revealed that her love for food comes from her father and expressed excitement about learning how to bake pastries.
"I'm really excited to try baking pastries. If Daddy is known for his main dishes, maybe someday I'll be known for pastries," she shared with a laugh.
Like many teenagers, Caprice also spends her downtime playing mobile games, a hobby she discovered through her cousins, whom she also considers her closest friends.
"I discovered mobile gaming through my cousins, who are also my best friends. They're my gaming squad," she said.
According to the young actress, exploring different interests has allowed her to better understand herself, adding that many members of Generation Z share the same mindset of pursuing various "sidequests" to discover new skills and potential career paths.
"I think we Gen Zs enjoy having lots of sidequests because they help us discover new things about ourselves and even the paths we may want to pursue," she said.
Caprice's adventurous personality also led to her becoming the newest ambassador of Smart Prepaid's Power All offers. She shared that the partnership is meaningful to her, having been a Smart subscriber since receiving her first mobile phone eight years ago.
"I'm really happy to be part of the Smart family because I've actually been a Smart subscriber since I got my first phone eight years ago. Now I get to enjoy it even more as one of the Smart ambassadors," she said.
The actress also shared that music plays a major role in her online presence, particularly when creating content for social media.
"I love choosing the songs for my posts because they help tell the story and match the vibe of every photo," she said.
Looking ahead, Caprice said she has no plans of limiting herself to acting alone. She hopes to venture into vlogging, singing, baking, and other new experiences as she continues exploring different passions.
She also encouraged fellow Gen Zs to embrace opportunities that bring them joy.
"Keep exploring. Choose sidequests that genuinely make you happy because those experiences help you become the best version of yourself," she said.
