The Commission on Appointments (CA) Committee on Foreign Affairs on Friday approved the nomination of Renato Ner Dueñas Jr. as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Dueñas’ appointment is subject to approval by the CA plenary.

The approval clears the committee-level review of his nomination as the Philippines’ next envoy to Brunei.
