The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested a 45-year-old businesswoman—listed among the Most Wanted Persons of the Kamuning Police Station (PS 10)—during an intelligence-driven manhunt operation in Mandaluyong City.

According to the QCPD, the suspect, alias "Lala"—a resident of Barangay Matandang Balara, Quezon City—was arrested at approximately 4:06 PM on September 20 at a parking area on Saint Francis Street, Barangay Wack Wack, Mandaluyong City.

The suspect faces 124 counts of Qualified Theft pursuant to a warrant of arrest issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 84, with a recommended bail of ₱5.838 million.

As of Sunday, she was in the custody of Police Station 10 for documentation and appropriate legal processing.

PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano, Officer-in-Charge of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), warned that such acts of qualified theft constitute a breach of trust and a violation of the law.

“Qualified theft is a calculated abuse of trust, and the law will not tolerate those who believe their deceit can outrun accountability. No amount of evasion, influence, or silence can shield a fugitive from the courts,” Abrahano said.

He stated that the NCRPO remains dedicated to apprehending offenders and ensuring that justice is served.

“Let this serve as an absolute warning: the NCRPO will track you down and deliver you to justice.”
