The Milwaukee Bucks took home its first NBA title in 50 years after defeating the Phoenix Sun, 105-98, in game six of the Finals. NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 50 points and 14 rebounds while Khris Middleton added 17 points for Milwaukee to put an end to the best-of-seven series. The Suns ended the first half with a five point advantage, 47-42, but back-to-back baskets by Antetokounmpo allowed the Bucks to take the lead, 58-55, in the third quarter. The Bucks never let go of the lead after Antetokoumpo and Bobby Portis put them up 86-82 in the final period. Chris Paul scored 26 points and Devin Booker registered 19 points for the Phoenix that lose its 2-0 lead early in the series after four straight losses at the hands of Milwaukee.
