Early tickets for the highly anticipated comeback concert of global K-pop supergroup BTS were snapped up within hours during the Army Membership presale, organizers announced Tuesday, triggering a wave of mixed reactions from Filipino fans.
The presale on Tuesday, June 9, marked the first round of ticket releases for the “BTS World Tour Arirang Concert,” scheduled to take place on March 13 and 14, 2027, in Bulacan.
Fans, collectively known as ARMY, rushed online as soon as access opened, quickly selling out all available seats allotted for membership holders.
While some fans celebrated securing coveted tickets, many others took to social media to share their frustration after failing to purchase passes.
Several fans are now calling on organizers to add a third show, hoping to accommodate the overwhelming demand.
Others jokingly resigned themselves to being “team bahay,” a popular term among Filipino fans who plan to stay home after missing out on tickets, while still expressing support for the group.
Concert promoters confirmed that the next batch of tickets will be released through the Live Nation Philippines pre-sale beginning at 11 a.m. on June 10. This will be followed by the general on-sale on June 11, which is expected to draw even heavier demand.
The swift sellout underscores BTS’ enduring global appeal as the group prepares for its long-awaited return to the stage.
The Arirang Concert tour marks one of the group’s biggest live projects since their hiatus, fueling excitement among fans worldwide — particularly in the Philippines, a key stop in their international tour.
