NBA – The New York Knicks opened the Eastern Conference semifinals with a dominant 137-98 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday (PH time), extending their winning streak to three games.

Jalen Brunson led the surge with 35 points, adding three assists and two steals, as New York controlled the game from the opening quarter and never looked back.

The Knicks established early momentum, taking a 33-25 lead at the end of the first quarter before widening the gap to 74-51 at halftime. Their offensive rhythm continued in the third period, where they stretched the advantage to 109-78 entering the final frame.

New York maintained pressure in the fourth quarter, outscoring Philadelphia to seal the 39-point rout on home court.

Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists, while also knocking down three 3-pointers and recording two blocks in a well-rounded performance.

For Philadelphia, Paul George paced the team with 17 points, alongside three rebounds and three assists, including four shots from beyond the arc.

The 76ers struggled to keep pace offensively after the first quarter and were unable to recover from the widening deficit.

The Knicks’ decisive Game 1 win gives them an early edge in the best-of-seven semifinal series.
