After nearly two decades of laughter, late-night confessions, and unforgettable banter, the hit radio show "Boys Night Out" has bid its listeners an abrupt farewell. The long-running program, which aired nightly on Magic 89.9, officially signed off this week after 19 years on air.

Hosts Tony Toni, Slick Rick, and Sam YG confirmed the news during what would be their final broadcast, thanking their loyal listeners — affectionately known as “boys and girls” — for sticking with them through the years. Known for their unfiltered humor, relationship advice, and interviews with celebrities and personalities, "Boys Night Out" had become a pop culture staple in the Philippines.

“It’s been an incredible ride,” said Tony Toni, adding that the show’s unexpected ending was “bittersweet but full of gratitude.” Slick Rick echoed the sentiment, saying the program’s success was all because of the “community we built together every night.”

“Whether you listened to the show once in your life or you’ve listened more than 10,000 times, I appreciate you,” Sam YG pens in his post.

The show’s sudden sign-off sparked an outpouring of reactions online, with longtime fans expressing shock and nostalgia. #BoysNightOut quickly became a trending topic in the Philippines, with fans calling it “the end of an era.”

First launched in 2006, "Boys Night Out," started as a lighthearted evening show and eventually became one of the country’s longest-running and most influential FM radio programs. Beyond entertainment, the show often tackled real-life issues, making it resonate with a wide range of audiences.

As the curtains close on "Boys Night Out," one thing remains clear: its 19-year legacy of laughter, friendship, and unfiltered conversations will continue to live on in the memories of its listeners.
