Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., through his lawyer, denied all “baseless” accusations against him regarding the alleged ₱125 million worth of kickbacks.

In an interview at DZRH’s Breaktime on Friday, November 14, Revilla’s lawyer, Atty. Carissa Guinto said that they have been informed about former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo’s testimony before the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.

“Mr. Revilla categorically denies all these baseless accusations and he will address them in the proper forum and at the appropriate time,” she said.

“In case po na may ma-serve sa kanyang subpoena, kami po ay susunod po dito,” she added.

When asked about Revilla’s reaction, Guinto responded, “Siyempre po, [former] Senator Bong Revilla is very much disappointed, but he remains steady. He is calm, he is confident, because alam po niya ang katotohanan.”

Guinto also mentioned that she has no personal knowledge of whether Revilla is currently in the country or abroad. Despite this, she assured that the former senator will address the allegations at the appropriate forum.

The statement came after Bernardo alleged that he personally delivered approximately ₱125 million worth of cash to Revilla’s residence in Bacoor, Cavite, in December 2024, as part of the kickback scheme. Bernardo said Revilla personally requested a 25% kickback in exchange for approving funding for several infrastructure projects.
