The bodies of two of the five passengers aboard a vehicle that plunged from Agana Bridge on August 29 have been found in separate areas of Pangasinan, while two others remain missing as search and retrieval operations continue.

The remains of Shanen Tuhao were recovered at around 4 p.m. on September 1 in Barangay San Vicente, Bayambang, Pangasinan, according to Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap.

The recovery came two days after the remains of another passenger, James Patrick, were found in Barangay Carael, Pangasinan, on Monday, August 31.

In a statement, Yap said authorities continue to conduct search, rescue, and retrieval operations in coordination with concerned agencies and nearby local government units.

“Dalawa pa po ang hindi pa natatagpuan kaya patuloy pa rin ang search, rescue, and retrieval operations, kasama ang mga kinauukulang ahensya at mga karatig-lugar, sa pag-asang matutuntunan na rin ang dalawa pang nawawala,” Yap said.

Yap expressed her deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of Tuhao and James Patrick.

Meanwhile, authorities and the community continue to pray for the safe recovery of Shiela Mae Taborlupa and Harvey Paul Collado, who remain missing.

Of the five passengers, one survived the incident and managed to help himself to safety on the night the vehicle plunged from the bridge.
