The Bureau of Customs (BOC) exceeded its revenue collection targets in July 2026, and for the January to July period, Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said, citing stronger-than-expected inflows.
The agency collected ₱95.8 billion in July, surpassing its ₱91.5-billion target, while cumulative collections from January to July also went beyond the programmed goal by ₱10.47 billion, according to Nepomuceno.
He said the bureau has been able to meet even higher targets set for the agency, stressing the need to sustain and further improve collection performance as these funds support government operations and social programs.
