Rosé, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BLACKPINK, spent her Christmas visiting children at Seoul National University Children’s Hospital.
On December 31, the singer revealed that her holiday was extra meaningful this year, as she spent the day with young patients — making her year-end a heartwarming one.
In a social media post translated to English, she wrote: “This year, I received a lot of love from many people through my song Apartment, and I was grateful to meet children who are fighting their illnesses day by day in the hospital.”
She continued, “The kids gave me their precious time — we laughed, chatted, and took photos together. I went there hoping to return the love I received throughout the year, but instead, I feel like I came back with even more joy and warmth as a gift.”
Rosé also shared that she has been unable to forget the children’s warm and bright eyes since the visit, and encouraged others to send love and support to them as well.
She ended her heartfelt caption with, “I wish children all over the world a warm and happy end of the year, and I hope everyone receives lots and lots of blessings in the new year.”
Meanwhile, her collaboration track “APT” with Bruno Mars recently earned a spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart just before the year came to a close.
