Iconic K-pop boy band BIGBANG is set to return to the stage this year to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut after a multi-year hiatus.

The announcement came from Yang Hyun-suk, founder and executive producer of YG Entertainment, in a video posted Tuesday on the agency’s official YouTube channel. Yang outlined plans for the company’s artists in 2026, highlighting BIGBANG’s milestone comeback.

"Having worked together for so long, I am confident we will face no difficulties with the plan. Together, we will do our very best to create a perfect and brilliant concert," Yang Hyun-suk, founder and executive producer of YG Entertainment, said in a video posted on the company's official blog.

“Celebrating the 20th anniversary this year, we've agreed to hold a BIGBANG performance. I would like to announce that BIGBANG's global tour will kick off,” Yang said in Korean, translated into English via the platform.

He added, “Because the artists and company have been working together for so long, I don't think there'd be any difficulties. All the YG staff will give their absolute best effort to produce the most perfect and beautiful BIGBANG performance.”

The upcoming tour will feature members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung, marking a return to performing after the group’s hiatus following the 2022 release of their single “Still Life.“

Debuting in 2006, BIGBANG quickly rose to prominence as one of K-pop’s first-generation acts, achieving worldwide popularity with hits such as Lies, Haru Haru, Fantastic Baby, Bang Bang Bang, and Fxxk It.

Details on the tour schedule, including the kickoff date and cities, have yet to be announced.
