Bureau of Immigration (BI) Spokesperson Dana Sandoval confirmed the receipt of the Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ) against some congressmen, senators, and officials from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
"We confirm receipt of the ILBO issued by the Department of Justice against 33 individuals today, Oct. 8. Their names have been immediately included in our centralized database and their travels will be strictly monitored,” Sandoval said on Wednesday, October 8.
RH Noche Cacas reported that the 33 individuals mentioned in the ILBO are now inserted into the BI’s central database and are strictly being monitored.
The ILBO was formally requested by the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) to the DOJ, concerning its ongoing investigation into the anomalous flood control scandal.
Some officials named in the order are former House Speaker Martin Romualdez, former Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co, Senator Joel Villanueva, and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
More lawmakers, senators, and DPWH officials were also included in the said order.
