The Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed that there is currently no official travel record indicating that Senator Ronald dela Rosa has left the country, amid public questions over his possible movement outside the Philippines.

BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval said in an exclusive interview that, based on official monitoring systems, there has been no recent departure record for the senator.

“Sa records po natin, wala po siyang recent travel. Wala po siyang attempt na umalis sa isang city,” Sandoval said, stressing that no documented outbound travel activity has been registered under BI records.

However, when asked about the possibility of the senator leaving through so-called “backdoor channels,” Sandoval acknowledged that such scenarios are not entirely being dismissed by authorities.

“Well, there's always that possibility po,” she said, noting that potential illegal migration corridors are continuously being monitored in coordination with local government units, the Philippine National Police (PNP), and other enforcement agencies.

Sandoval also emphasized that airport security and immigration monitoring remain a routine and coordinated effort among agencies such as the PNP, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

“Normal po yan. Meron tayong mga police at meron po tayong mga NBI… it’s an everyday routine po sa atin,” she said, referring to the continuous presence of law enforcement personnel at key border points.

She added that while coordination with partner agencies remains strong, operational details on additional deployments following recent directives cannot be fully disclosed due to separate jurisdictions within airport security areas.

Authorities have reiterated that they are continuously monitoring points of entry and exit, particularly amid concerns over possible unauthorized exits through irregular routes, as investigations and security checks continue.
