The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has arrested three foreign nationals in separate operations in Camarines Sur and Pampanga on March 30, in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to protect the integrity of the country’s immigration system.

Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said a 41-year-old Chinese national, identified as Yang Shaofang, was apprehended in Barangay Tara, Sipocot, for violating the conditions of his visa and allegedly using falsified immigration documents.

Authorities found Yang managing a motorcycle parts business despite holding a visa under a different petitioner.

In a separate operation, BI agents arrested two Korean nationals, Moon Jongkook, 45, and Park Youngsun, 46, at the Venetian Cocktail Lounge in Clark Freeport Zone for engaging in activities inconsistent with their authorized stay.

Viado emphasized that all foreign nationals must strictly comply with Philippine immigration laws, warning that any abuse of the visa system will not be tolerated.

The arrested individuals were brought to the BI main office in Manila for booking, inquest proceedings, and further legal action, as authorities continue to intensify enforcement against immigration violations.
