Becky Armstrong has officially been announced as the new lead of the upcoming series "Girl From Nowhere: The Reset."

On January 14, the series’ official Facebook page confirmed Becky Armstrong’s casting, revealing that she will take on the central role in the new installment of the series, marking a major transition for the popular Thai series following the exit of its original star, Chicha Amatayakul, widely known as Kitty Chicha.

Alongside the announcement, the page shared a Thai-to-English translated caption that read, “Hello, I’m Nanno. Nice to meet you.” This was followed by the statement, “First look: the new girl, a new form, a new universe—officially revealed.”

The post further teased the transformation by stating, “Forget every image you’ve ever known of 'Becky Armstrong,' and get ready to witness a major role transformation.”

Prior to the official reveal, a teaser released on January 11 sparked excitement among fans. The clip showed only the back of the new lead wearing the series’ signature school uniform, accompanied by the caption, “Caught a glimpse of her back… now you’ll want to see her face. January 14 — the reveal, together.”

Another line shared by the official account read, “The New Girl. A new form. A new universe. But the Nanno inside? Still the same Nanno.” reinforcing that while the lead actress has changed, the essence of the character remains intact.

"Girl From Nowhere: The Reset" is set to premiere on March 7, airing every Saturday at 8:30 PM (Thai time). Viewers can watch the series on Channel 31, with an uncut version available for streaming via the oneD app.

Speculation about Kitty Chicha stepping away from her iconic role as Nanno had been circulating on social media since last month, with fans increasingly suspecting that Becky Armstrong would be introduced as the series’ new lead—a rumor now officially confirmed.
