Miss Universe Philippines 2026 Bea Millan-Windorski is gearing up for the international stage as she prepares to represent the country at the 75th Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico.
The Filipina beauty queen received a special send-off press conference attended by members of the media, pageant supporters, sponsors, and her management team in celebration of her upcoming international journey.
For her send-off appearance, Bea wore an archival creation by renowned Filipino designer Rajo Laurel, titled “Tuguegarao” from his 2018 Archipelago Mapa collection, inspired by the region's topography between the Sierra Madre and Cordillera mountain ranges.
In an Instagram post, Bea described the ensemble as her “opening salvo” for her Miss Universe journey, adding that it represents “a little piece of home, brought to the world.”
As an environmental advocate, she also used the occasion to raise awareness about the protection of the country's mountain ecosystems, particularly amid growing concerns over critical minerals mining.
“I hope to amplify the message that our natural world and the communities who have stewarded these mountains for generations, particularly the communities of Kasibu and Dupax del Norte, Nueva Vizcaya, are the greatest treasures of all,” she wrote.
Bea also expressed excitement about exploring Puerto Rico's Sierra de Luquillo mountain range in El Yunque National Forest as she carries the Philippine flag on the international stage.
Representing La Union, Bea brings international pageant experience, having previously competed for the United States at Miss Earth 2024, where she earned the Miss Earth Water title.
With the support of her management team, sponsors, and Filipino pageant enthusiasts, Bea is setting her sights on bringing home the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe crown.
Bea is scheduled to depart for Puerto Rico on Thursday, November 5, to begin the final leg of her preparations for the international competition, with the Miss Universe 2026 grand coronation night set for November 24 at 8 a.m. Philippine time.
