Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque confirmed that they mutually agreed to end the engagement but did not clarify the status of their relationship.
The two released a joint statement on their Instagram on Sunday, February 11, referring to the engagement but have not yet confirmed if they have also decided to end their relationship.
In their post, Alonzo and Roque said that they have decided to end their engagement, although it was not an easy decision to make.
The two added that they wanted to "carefully deliberate and pray about it, but there have been speculations, questions, and insults" already.

Bea and Dominic expressed their disappointment to the people who confirmed their breakup without their consent, mentioning “ridiculous” stories that were baseless and not true.
As such, the two said they made up their minds to announce the situation for peace of mind as well as their families, and asked the public's deep understanding about the mutual decision.
In July 2023, Roque proposed to Alonzo in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan.
However, eagle-eyed fans spotted Alonzo without the engagement ring at her personal and work events, and speculations have been raised that the two have already broken up.
Last February 4, showbiz insider Ogie Diaz reported that Alonzo and Roque had already split, citing his anonymous sources.
King of Talk Boy Abunda then confirmed the breakup during his show "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" aired on February 6.
