Nancy dela Rosa, wife of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, has appealed to her husband’s influential former allies to support him amid the ₱50-million bounty and International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against him, urging them not to use him for their personal agendas.

In a social media post, Nancy expressed gratitude to those who continue to stand by the senator and believe in him amid the legal proceedings he faces.

“Thank you for helping me realize that there are millions who still believe and support him,” Nancy said.

She also called on a small group of influential individuals who were once close to her husband to recognize that he should not be treated as an enemy.

“I just pray that the powerful few who were also his friends would come to realize he is not their enemy nor the enemy of this state,” she said.

Nancy further appealed to her husband’s former allies not to take advantage of him for their own interests, saying the senator had helped them in numerous ways.

“Please do not use him for your personal agenda. He has helped you in countless ways and he has done you no wrong personally,” she said.

She ended her appeal by emphasizing that her husband needs support rather than further hostility.

“He needs your help, not your persecution,” Nancy said.
