Content creator and former beauty queen Ayn Bernos has announced her engagement to longtime partner Michael Fria.
Bernos shared the milestone on Instagram, posting photos and videos of the romantic beachside proposal where Fria got down on one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.
“The perfect day 🤍🥹 So excited to love you for the rest of our lives,” Bernos wrote.
In another post, she recalled how the weather had been gloomy earlier in the day before the sun emerged just in time for the proposal.
“It was a gloomy day, and then the sun came out just in time for this 🥹 No notes, so thankful for you and all that you do, chikababy!!!!!!” she added.
The proposal was witnessed by family members and close friends, who cheered as Bernos tearfully accepted.
The announcement drew congratulatory messages from fellow beauty queens and celebrities, including Nana Silayro, Angelique Manto, Nicole Cordoves, Hannah Arnold, Katrina Dimaranan, Andrea Torres, Rica Peralejo, Hershey Neri, Bella Racelis and David Guison.
Bernos rose to prominence on social media through her videos on self-love, public speaking, and English grammar and vocabulary.
She also competed in the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 pageant, where she finished in the Top 16.
Fria, meanwhile, is a professional event host and athlete.
