Netflix has dropped the official trailer for Season 2 of the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender, previewing an expanding war as the Fire Nation pushes deeper into the Earth Kingdom.
The trailer highlights rising tensions as Avatar Aang (Gordon Cormier) begins earthbending training under Toph (Miyako), preparing for the battles ahead. In one moment, Aang calls for guidance as the conflict grows across the continent.
The clip builds toward a tense showdown between Aang and Azula (Elizabeth Yu), who taunts him with a grim warning mid-fight.
“We have already won. The question is, how much are you willing to lose?” Elizabeth Yu's 'Azula' said in the trailer.
Per Netflix’s Tudum, Season 2 follows Aang reuniting with Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) as they head to Ba Sing Se to seek the Earth King’s support in the fight against Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim). Along the way, Aang continues his earthbending training under Toph.
Filipino actress Dolly de Leon also joins the cast this season as Lo and Li, the firebending mentors of Azula.
The new season premieres on June 25. Netflix previously renewed the series for two additional seasons following the strong reception of its debut, with Seasons 2 and 3 filmed back-to-back and production on Season 3 wrapping in late 2024.
