

American actress and singer Ashley Tisdale-French took a trip down memory lane as she reflected on her time portraying Sharpay Evans in the iconic film series High School Musical.
The beloved franchise marks its 20th anniversary this year, having first aired in 2006.
To celebrate the milestone, Tisdale shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for the role that helped shape her career. She wrote, “20 years ago we had no idea what this would turn into. I’m so grateful for what this movie has given me, and for the fans who made it what it is.”
She also shared how being part of something so remarkable and iconic—one that continues to gain new fans even after two decades—feels truly mind-blowing. Tisdale went on to express her love and appreciation for her beloved character Sharpay, adding that “we’re still looking fabulous!”
In another post, the actress shared clips of herself trying on her iconic Sharpay costumes, captioned, “You can take the girl out of East High… But you can’t take Sharpay out of the girl.”
She also noted that even after 20 years and becoming a mother of two, she still embodies Sharpay’s fabulousness.
